G-ESN hot air dryer

Hot air dryers are used to remove surface moisture from materials. They are used for the drying of non-hygroscopic materials and for the pre-drying or conditioning of hygroscopic materials. 

Piovan has a wide range of hot air dryers. In the G-serie the heater, the fan and the control system are fitted to the side of the drying hopper in order to form a very compact drying unit. This can be installed directly on the injection molding machine and extrusion machine or can ba mounted on a trolley for better mobility.

When using larger airflows, the ESN-serie will be used. The hot air generator is in this case a unit separate from the drying hopper. These are typically used in installations with very large consumption rates. Here is the energy saving a very import issue.
